Telling the Stories of our Harris Ancestors
The Nathan Harris and Rhoda Lapham Family Organization is committed to preserving the rich history of our Harris ancestors. We aim to share meaningful stories and historical research that highlight our family’s legacy. Our mission is to foster a deeper understanding of our shared heritage among descendants and interested historians.
Nathan Harris and Rhoda Lapham Family Organization is a family historical society dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of our Harris Ancestors. Although it focuses on the descendants of Nathan Harris and Rhoda Lapham, it includes their ancestral lines reaching back to the earliest records in England.
The Nathan Harris and Rhoda Lapham Family Organization was formed in 2023 as the result of several Harris Cousins recognizing the need and joining together to launch this official 501(3)(c) organization. We are dedicated to preserving and sharing the Harris family history to inspire a love of our shared legacy to extended cousins of all ages. Ongoing research expanding Harris family histories are made available to the public. A fully vetted Harris Family Tree is being built and is available to the public for viewing. Special projects include semi-annual virtual reunions in January and July and planning for on site reunions and commemorations are in the planning stages.

Sharing Research
Online Virtual Reunions are held each January and July. In May 2026 we held a 2 day monument dedications and on site presentations in Mentor, OH.
