We encourage you to make plans to join us for the big event in Kirtland/Mentor, Ohio, June 20-21, 2026.  Our Organization will place a memorial on site at the Mentor Cemetery to honor the life and legacy of Nathan and Rhoda and their family.  Current plans include the following events:

Saturday June 20:

Revolutionary War Patriots Memorial Brick-Laying Ceremony. 

10:00 am; Lake County Courthouse, 95 N. Park Place, Painesville, Ohio. 

Conducted by New Connecticut Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. 

Harris Family Monument Dedication

12:00 pm; Mentor Municipal Cemetery, 7881 Hopkins Road, Mentor, Ohio

Presentations and Dedication of Harris Monument. 

Harris Family Lunch and Meeting

1:00 pm; Mentor Old Council Hall, 7250 Hopkins Road, Mentor, Ohio

A light lunch served with remarks, presentations and discussions honoring the Harris family.

Group Photo at Kirtland Temple

3:00 pm; Outside on North East corner.  9020 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland, Ohio

Followed by a Brief Presentation of Martin Harris’ residences near the temple beginning 1857.

3:30 pm; Walking tour of Historic Kirtland Village

5:30 pm; Gathering at Preserved Harris Home Site for presentation and  then drive to Isaac Morley Farm.

Sunday June 21:

Sacrament Meeting 

9:00 am; Kirtland LDS Meetinghouse 8751 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland, Ohio

Harris Family Devotional at Kirtland Temple

10:30 am; Kirtland Temple, 9020 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland, Ohio
